Teams from around the country will battle it out for bragging rights in Austin, Texas. Two member teams will mountain bike, trail run and paddle their way to victory. Categories will include coed, coed masters, female & male. |

Course Description
Two person teams will follow a marked course. Teams will mountain bike and trail run on single track trail at Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville, Texas. Paddling will be done in the Colorado River. All competitors must use provided boats, paddles & PFD's. Boats are Sevelor K-79 inflatables. Paddles are double bladed. Teams may bring their own boat seats or use beach balls - seats will not be provided.
Estimated distances: Trail Running 4-6 miles total Mountain Biking 12-20 miles total Paddling 30 - 45 minutes total
Meet Professional Adventure Racer Robyn Benincasa
Professional racer Robyn Benincasa from Team Merrell / Zanfel will be on hand to answer questions, give tips and share experiences. Robyn has earned World Champion honors in both the Eco-Challenge (Borneo, 2000) and the Raid Gauloises (1998).
Registration Information
Collegiate Nationals: The USARA Adventure Race Collegiate Nationals is open to all college students. Competitors must be (or have been) enrolled in a minimum of 1 class in Spring 2008. Team members are not required to attend the same University. Post graduate students qualify to compete in Collegiate Nationals. Categories include male and coed. Registration fees are $80 per 2-person team.

Sprint Nationals: The USARA Sprint Nationals Adventure Race is open to all competitors. Teams do not need to qualify to compete. Categories include male, female, coed, and coed masters(both team members must be 40+ yrs). Registration fees are $160 per 2-person team.

What's At Stake
Collegiate Nationals: The winning coed collegiate team will receive a team sponsorship from AIX Group worth over $3000 in travel and entry fee funding. The AIX Group team sponsorship will also include equipment from Merrell, Suunto, Sole, Numa and Zanfel. The team will also receive free entry into the 2008 GoLite USARA 24 Hour Adventure Race National Championship, a $900 value.
Prizes and awards for the top 5 teams in each category.
Sprint Nationals: The winning coed team will receive some amazing prizes including free entry into the 2008 GoLite USARA 24 Hour Adventure Race National Championship.

Hammerhead Two Wheeled Circus Hammerhead Bicycles will be producing the Hammerhead Two Wheeled Circus immediatly following the race. Come test your skills at amazing feats of mountain bike excitement such as the bike limbo and log pull. Entry is free and open to all (spectators, racers, etc).
